Bargaining Units

There are currently 85 bargaining units under the jurisdiction of the Board of Certification (“BOC”), which are listed below in alphabetical order by colloquial name. In representation proceedings before the BOC, a bargaining unit is referred to by its Certification No. and its colloquial name. The Certification No. indicates the decision that initially certified the union(s) as the exclusive bargaining representative(s) of the unit. For your convenience, we also list the corresponding CBU No. used by the New York City Department of Citywide Services (“DCAS”) in other contexts.
