When a party files a petition at OCB, a copy must also be served on the designated agent, if one exists, for each respondent. A designated agent is a representative of the employer and/or union who is specifically designated by that party to accept service of pleadings under OCB's Rules. Failure to properly serve the designated agent may result in delay or dismissal of your petition. Service of documents on the designated agent may be by mail or in person during business hours.
